The Journey
Reconnect With Your Authentic Self - A Transformational Holistic Healing Retreat in Mata Grande, Dominican Republic
June 21–27, 2025
The Journey is an intimate eight-day retreat designed for those ready to release old narratives, reconnect with their inner truth, and initiate deep personal change. Set in the remote mountains of Mata Grande, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this experience offers space for stillness, connection, and renewal.
This retreat integrates somatic and creative practices with guided indigenous ceremonies in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment. Participants will be guided through an intentional arc of preparation, transformation, and integration.
What to Expect
Guided Ceremonies
Participants will take part in two sacred plant medicine ceremonies facilitated by an experienced team. These sessions are approached with care, respect, and integrity. Each participant will have a preparatory call with the lead facilitator before attending, and integration sessions are provided throughout the retreat.
Embodiment Practices
The retreat includes daily somatic and embodiment practices, including yoga, breathwork, meditation, and intuitive movement. These modalities support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and embodied integration of insights.
Creative Expression
Participants will explore their inner landscape through writing, drawing, voice work, and guided creative exercises. These sessions provide a safe space for personal expression and integration of the retreat experience.
Nature & Stillness
The retreat takes place in an off-grid setting with no internet or mobile signal on-site. This digital detox invites deeper presence, rest, and reconnection with the natural world. The land offers mountain trails, ocean views, and time for solitude and reflection.
